This a primary school in Corsham, Wiltshire, UK proudly flying the Union flag.

It wouldn't be much of a story except in today's world of political correctness where all outward signs of national identity are frowned upon. All children should have a sense of belonging to a nation, be they indigenous children or children of earlier immigrants.
