Imagine having a terminal illness knowing you only have a year to live when your doctors says great news! We can save you but the treatment starts in 3 years time. I expect our brave soldiers in Afghanistan must have felt the same on the news that this "generous" Labour government is buying 20 new chinook helicopters to deploy in Afghanistan. Great we think but the first batch of ten will arrive in theatre in 3 years time (2013). There was me thinking that Gorden Brown & Barrack Obama were serious about starting withdrawal in 18 months time? On current averages that is another 300 dead British soldiers. We learnt our lesson in Northern Ireland that it is too dangerous to travel through bandit country by road and hence our troops deployed by helicopter.
Lets get one thing clear. The British National Party is the only party actively campaigning for an
immediate withdrawal of British troops out of Afghanistan. Not in 3 or 4 years time. Not in 1 or 2 years time but the day after the next general election and the next day and the next day and every day until until all our troops are back where they rightfully belong. Safe at home on British soil with their families!
